Bocelli's voice is sublime
Billy Strings is the Pavarotti of our time. His voice is heavenly and not to be missed.
We spent almost $400/a ticket only to have the Conductor block (completely) our view of Billy Strings. As for the concert and the venue--well, I have something to say about that.
The second half was a total contrast due to the pieces that were played by the Orchestra/live Chorus, Billy and his musical guests--best of which was Heather (forgetting her last name).. beautiful, beautiful voice--I did wonder why the orchestra was so loud when she sang At Last, her voice was powerful and smooth enough that she didn't need a full-throttled orchestra to support (at time drown out) her voice.
The first half of the concert was slow and felt flat, Billy seemed tired ( bless his heart). He sang newer or operatic pieces that made it hard to connect. We had to watch the screen to see him--I laughed it off, but it was a bummer.
Overall, I didn't feel the show flowed as well as we expected but am grateful we went to the show.
